ADDICTION COUNSELLOR ? FULL-TIME, PERMANENT ROLE
Based in Bushypark Treatment Centre, we require a motivated and
dynamic team member to work as part of the clinical team in providing
addiction treatment to residents of the Centre and to support clients
pre and post treatment in the Community. Reporting to the Treatment
Team Leader, this is a full-time permanent role, working **Apply on
the website** hours per week over a 7 days rota, which includes
working one Saturday and one Sunday (alternate) in every 6 weeks.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
* Qualified to a minimum of Diploma in Counselling OR Diploma in
Counselling & Psychotherapy accredited by either BACP, IACP, IAHIP or
ACI.
* Minimum of 2 years relevant Counselling experience working with
individuals and groups in an addiction setting, OF WHICH 1 year?s
relevant experience must have been gained in paid employment.
* Working knowledge of the **Apply on the website** Step Programme
together with an understanding of the Biopsychosocial model of
addiction treatment.
* Current member of BACP, IACP, IAHIP or ACI.
